  • Is there someone special that you would like to honor or remember in a meaningful and lasting way? A gift in honor or memorial will benefit the Ojai Valley for generations to come. Whether it is a modest cash gift or a naming gift, every gift makes a difference.

    One-time gifts in honor or memory may be made through our donation form above. We will mail an acknowledgement of your gift to the honoree or, if a memorial gift, to a designated family member to let them know their loved one has been honored by you. We will also mail you a letter of thanks with acknowledgement of the gift amount for your tax records, as these gifts are tax deductible.

  • Does your employer have a gift matching program? If so, please consider designating the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy as the beneficiary of your gift and your employer’s matching gift.

    Currently Patagonia, Wellpoint, Boeing, IBM, T-Mobile, Chevron, and Verizon employees are benefitting the OVLC with matching gifts from their employers.

    It’s easy. Just tell your employer how much you would like to have deducted from your paycheck, or how much you have donated to the organization. The employer will match your donation, and send a check to OVLC quarterly on your behalf. A great way to give without having to think about it.

    If your workplace has a matching donation program and Ojai Valley Land Conservancy is not one of its listed nonprofits, please let them know that you would like us to be so that you can designate your workplace giving to OVLC. We’ll be happy to do our part to make that happen too. Simply email us at info@ovlc.org to let us know that you would like to add us to your workplace giving program.

  • If you or your group would like to go above and beyond to leave a lasting mark in the community, we also offer naming opportunities at some of our preserves. This is a unique opportunity to create a lasting legacy for your family, and for future generations of Ojai Valley residents. When new lands are acquired we will post new naming opportunities.

  • **Please note: benches are present on our preserves, but there are currently no opportunities for bench naming rights.

    Memorial benches are made by a local artist, Ryan Lang. They can be adorned with a plaque honoring loved one(s). The cost for dedicating a bench starts at $10,000 and naming rights are guaranteed for 20 years. After 20 years, the donor, or their family, have first right of refusal to reclaim the bench. Availability of benches is limited and the OVLC staff must approve all new benches and inscriptions.
