We understand your concerns about safety and security and want to assure you that we make every effort to safeguard your privacy when you make donations through our giving system. The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy respects and protects your privacy and will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to other individuals or companies. With your permission, your name and contact information will be inputted into the conservancy’s database. If you do not wish share your name and contact information with the conservancy or you choose to make your donation anonymously, you can specify that request in the comment box provided on the donation form.
When making a donation, registering as a member, or renewing an existing membership you will be asked to provide personal information including your name, email, phone number, address, and credit card information. When taking donor information, it is for the purpose of:
To process and respond to inquiries and for the purposes for which you provided the information, such as to process donations or register or renew you as a member.
To alert you to new projects, special events and news within the conservancy.
To be able to contact our members.
If at any time you would like to access, modify, correct, or delete your personal information, please contact us.
The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy uses Norton Security powered by Blackbaud Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) online technology, which encrypts the data you provide. The giving forms are embedded into our site, so the SSL is held by the Blackbaud site and does not appear in the URL. However the form itself is secure and hosted on a secure site with SSL. This means that sensitive information, such as your credit card number, becomes unreadable to anyone who wrongly intercepts the information. SSL is supported by all major Web browsers. The site hosting the form becomes locked while you are giving us your credit card information and unlocks only when you leave the secured area.
