Ready for a reroute? Let's forge ahead on some new trails in the Ventura River Preserve! 

Join us this week for two new volunteer opportunities.

We will be clearing vegetation and smoothing tread on both days as we reroute trails.

Time: 8:00 am — 12:00 pm

What We'll Be Doing:

We'll be leveling trail tread and cleaning vegetation. 

Work will involve hiking (moderately strenuous), and then the use of tools like loppers, picks, mcleods, rock bars, and other hand tools. There are a range of tasks lined up for the reroute, so there's something for everyone!

What You'll Need:

Please bring gloves and closed-toe shoes with good grip (preferably boots).

Additional recommended items include a small pack with water and snacks, pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and a light rain jacket (just in case).
