Lights, camera, conservation! This year, OVLC is celebrating its 10th anniversary of Mountainfilm on Tour. Dig out your blankets and low-back chairs and join us on Saturday, September 21 at Ojai Valley School’s Lower Campus Sports Field for another fantastic year of films and fun!
Make it a weekend and join us Friday, September 20, at Under the Open Sky—a locally sourced farm-to-table dinner by Seasons Catering with live music, a photo booth, beer, wine, a virtual auction, and a paddle raise at our historic Ventura River Steelhead Preserve. When the sun sets, we will enjoy a collection of films selected for this special event that will not be shown on Saturday night.
Experience the beauty of nature, the thrill of adrenaline-pumping adventures, and the power of environmental storytelling as we showcase a curated selection of films from the Mountainfilm Festival in Telluride. From breathtaking landscapes to heartwarming stories of human resilience, these films will leave you with a profound love for our planet and a renewed commitment to its preservation.

Gates open at 5 pm – Films start at 7:15 pm
TICKETS
General Admission: $35 + fees
Child Ticket (Under 12 years old): $10 + fees
Day of Event Ticket: $40 + fees
Current Donor Ticket: $25 + fees

**Please note, no outside alcohol will be allowed. Bags will be searched upon entry. This community event is a fundraiser for OVLC. All proceeds from the event go towards our mission to protect and restore the natural landscapes of the Ojai Valley forever.

In conjunction with Mountainfilm on Tour, we are hosting a virtual auction from Friday, September 13 to Monday, September 23. The auction bidding window closes on Monday, September 23 at 9 pm. The auction is open to the public and does not require the purchase of a Mountainfilm on Tour ticket to participate.

Parking
Handicap parking is located at Ojai Valley School West Campus Entrance
Primary Parking is generously provided across the street by the Ojai Valley Inn's Lavender Lot.
The Lavender lot is located directly across from the Matilija Middle School Sport Field at the intersection of W. Ojai Ave and Country Club Drive. Entrance to the lot is located on Country Club Drive.
Please use the crosswalk at the intersection of W. Ojai Ave and Country Club Drive to get to the event from the Lavender Lot.
We recommend bringing a flashlight or headlamp to return to your car.
Ride Your Bike
A complementary bike valet will be provided.
Every attendee arriving by bike will receive one free raffle ticket!
Event Rules
All bags will be searched

Volunteer at Mountainfilm
on Tour
The success of this event, OVLC’s largest event of the year, depends in large part on our dedicated community of event volunteers. This year we expect to welcome roughly 2,000 attendees, which is why we really need your help!
If you have two hours (or even more), we would love your help on Saturday, September 21 between 10 am—12 pm and 3—10 pm.
We need help in some areas more than others (jobs and shift times listed to the right). Please RSVP to claire@ovlc.org and indicate the overall hours you are available across all jobs and shifts you are interested in.
Volunteers who donate 2 hours or more of their time will receive complimentary access to the show.
A/V Set Up: 10am - 12pm *requires lifting heavy equipment*
General Event Set Up: 3 - 5pm
Ticket Sales: 4:15 - 7:15pm, 6:45 - 8:45pm
Parking: 4:30 - 6:30pm
Bike Valet: 4:30 - 6:30pm, 6:30 - 8:30pm, 8:30 - 9:30pm
Raffle Table: 4:30 - 6:30pm, 6 - 8:30pm
Swag Table: 4:30 - 6:30pm, 6 - 8:30pm
Beer Pouring/Checking IDs: 4:30 - 7:00pm, 6:30 - 8:30pm
Event Break Down: 9 - 10pm *high need for volunteers at this time*
If you are tech-savvy, have experience using Square or other card readers, or have worked ticketing before, please let us know. Duties will be assigned by OVLC staff based on availability and need 1 week prior to the event.
