This week, we have two volunteer opportunities in the Ventura River Preserve.

We will be clearing vegetation and smoothing tread on both days. Hope you can join us!

Project Details:
When: Wednesday, February 14th
Time: 8:00 am — 12:00 pm

What We'll Be Doing:

We'll be leveling trail tread and cleaning vegetation. 

Work will involve hiking (moderately strenuous), and then the use of tools like loppers, picks, mcleods, rock bars, and other hand tools. There are a range of tasks lined up for the reroute, so there's something for everyone!

What You'll Need:

Please bring gloves and closed-toe shoes with good grip (preferably boots).

Additional recommended items include a small pack with water and snacks, pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and sun protection (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, etc).
