Join Erin Berkowitz of Berbo Studio for a natural dye workshop utilizing common native garden plants—like sagebrush, coffeeberry, toyon, and many more—to create colorful textile dyes. You’ll make your own resist-dyed cotton bandana with dyes brewed in class, and we’ll discuss topics relevant to native plant lovers, gardeners, and natural dyers alike, including the color potential of various plants, cultivating and harvesting color from your own garden, accessible home dyeing techniques, and more. Appropriate for all levels of experience (ages 12+).
