Join OVLC Docents Corrina Wright and Anthony Avildsen on Saturday, December 16 for a docent-led hike at the Ventura River Preserve (VRP). This 4.5 mile loop will take you along Rice Canyon Trail, through El Nido Meadow, and back down Wills Canyon Trail.

This hike is appropriate for ages 12 years old and up and we request only well-behaved dogs on leash. Please wear closed-toe shoes, boots and pants recommended, and bring sun protection, water, and snacks. Hiking poles are recommended, but not necessary, for river crossing, some slopes, rocky terrain, and slippery footing. Space is extremely limited and we often have a waitlist for these hikes. If you receive a spot, we ask that you please attend, or if you are unable to make it, you contact us 48 hours in advance in order to offer your spot to someone else.
