Native Seeds film screening at Poco Farm

  • Poco Farm Stockbridge Lane Ojai, CA US (map)

Join us on Friday, November 10 from 6:00—8:30 pm at Poco Farm for a screening of Native Seeds: Supplying Restoration, followed by a panel discussion featuring Sophie McLean (OVLC Native Plant Specialist), Grace Malloy (Poco Farm Co-Director), and filmmakers Brady Holden and McKenna Asakawa (Holden Films).

Native Seeds: Supplying Restoration is a documentary that explores the native seed supply chain in the western United States. Filmed over four seasons, this film weaves together footage of seed collectors, farmers, researchers, and land managers working to scale up the supply of native seeds to meet the growing restoration demand. We see the staggering scale of damage to vast landscapes and meet tenacious people who are finding creative, scrappy solutions to restore ecosystems.

Gates will open at 6:00 pm and the film will begin at 6:30 pm.
Poco Farm and the OVLC encourage you to ride your bike or carpool to reduce neighborhood traffic.
Bring your own low backed chairs and blankets.
Popcorn, hot cider toddies, sweet treats, and other beverages will be available for purchase.
