What We'll Be Doing:

Help us collect seeds to restore the Ventura River Preserve. Under the guidance of OVLC’s Native Plant Specialist, Sophie, you will learn about our native plants and collect seed to fuel our restoration work on the preserve.

Work will include:

1.5-mile hike in and out over rugged terrain. Handling and carrying native plant materials.

What You'll Need:

Please bring gloves and closed-toe shoes with good grip (preferably boots).

Additional recommended items include a small pack with lots of water and snacks, pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses).
