Workday on the Ojai Meadows Preserve
Last week we had a planting day with Mr. Lepine’s Environmental Field Studies class from Nordhoff and Janis Duncan’s 3rd and 4th graders from Meiners Oaks Elementary, at the Ojai Meadows Preserve. The Big Brother/Sisters and their energetic pint-sized partners worked together to add some additional color and variety to the infamous Oak Circles I featured a few weeks ago. The weather was perfect and everyone chipped in to make the day a big success. Here are some pictures of the highlights:
