Presentation by David Lee

OVLC Office 370 W. Baldwin Road, Bldg. A4
Many wild animals make their home in the Ojai Valley including ground squirrels, bobcats, gray foxes and coyotes. Please join us for an informative presentation about the wildlife in our backyard, presented by wildlife biologist David Lee.
David Lee is a senior biologist with the Davey Resource Group, urban wildlife specialist and author. David earned his master’s degree in Biology from Montana State University in Bozeman, where he studied wolverine, lynx and martin populations using camera traps and DNA hair sampling stations. He has been conducting wildlife surveys in Southern California since 2001. For the past six months, David has been monitoring wildlife travel patterns and habitat use on OVLC preserves. He often hears coyotes from his office in Ventura where he lives on the wildland – urban interface.
