What We Do For You

To thank and recognize participating businesses for their commitment to the Wild About Ojai program, the OVLC will promote your business and provide ongoing Wild About Ojai program support.

Promotional Efforts

With the goal of driving traffic to your business, the OVLC will promote participating businesses in the following ways:

  • Sending e-blasts to our mailing list of over 5,000 local email addresses promoting the participating businesses in the Wild About Ojai program.
  • Updating our Facebook page to alert our over 5,500 followers of your participation in the program
  • Posting on Instagram about your participation to our 4,000 followers
  • Placing a bi-weekly ad in the California 101 Real Estate Guide promoting Wild About Ojai.
  • Including your business in a full page ad in the California 101 Guide.
  • Including your business in a full page ad in the Ojai Quarterly magazine.
  • Including your business in a special Wild About Ojai section in OVLC’s quarterly Open Spaces newsletter, mailed to over 2,000 households.
  • Each business receives custom branded materials to promote their participation in the Wild About Ojai program.
  • By adding your business profile to OVLC’s website which receives an average of 17,000 visits per month. Each participating business has its own page on our website with pictures, contact information, a description of your business, and links to your website.
  • By promoting Wild About Ojai on trailhead signs at our preserves, encouraging people to look for and patronize participating businesses.
  • Added to printed materials when possible. e.g. On the back of preserve maps at trailhead kiosks.
  • Your business will be recognized at all OVLC events on our retractable banner acknowledging our Wild About Ojai partners, (reprinted every July) including the OVLC’s Annual Member Event.

Your business will receive the Wild About Ojai window decal for your businesses to inform people passing by that you are a partner in this important program. You will also receive materials custom branded for your business about the Wild About Ojai program, and you will be able to use the Wild About Ojai logo in any of your marketing materials and on your website as well to promote your participation.

Keeping You Informed

In order to keep you up to speed on the important work your business is supporting, we will do the following:

  • Send you electronic newsletters throughout the year detailing current projects and upcoming events.
  • Send you an annual letter summarizing the impact of your business’ participation in the Wild About Ojai program.
  • Update our website regularly with announcements, news, and project updates.

Ongoing Support

Representatives of the OVLC will be available to you anytime you have questions about the Wild About Ojai program, current projects, or other activities. We will resupply your materials anytime that you need. We will visit periodically to make sure you have everything you need, and you are always welcome to call if you need extra materials.

The Wild About Ojai program is a partnership between the participating businesses, your customers, and the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy. We will be there for any support you need in participating in this program, and look forward to celebrating your commitment to help protect the Ojai Valley’s precious views, trails, water, and wildlife.
