AllegraRothAllegra Roth is joining the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy this summer to help manage the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy’s restoration greenhouse.

Allegra Roth recently graduated from Cate School and is heading off to UC Davis in the fall where she will major in Environmental Policy and Analysis.  During her senior year she studied Law and Policy as it relates to Agriculture and became increasingly interested in the environment and organic farming.  Last summer Allegra spent three weeks in Peru building a greenhouse in the Andes.  She hopes to do something similar in the future.  Allegra wants to work with health, agriculture, and the environment and in the future attend law school.

Allegra has lived in Ojai for 8 years and learned of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy’s Ojai Meadows Preserve, where she will spend much of her summer, through her experience with the Green School’s conferences in Ojai.  She is excited to take on this project and hopes to accomplish and learn a lot. Allegra knows that the Land Conservancy has done a lot for Ojai and she is happy to be part of it.
