Volunteers Needed for a Native Grass Planting

grass-plugs-webCalling all volunteers! On the Saturday January 24, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., OVLC Restoration Program Manager Jill Taylor, and Nursery Manager Ron Singer, are having a native grass plug planting event at the Ojai Meadows Preserve as part of the ongoing restoration efforts.

Volunteers are needed to help restore native grasses at the preserve. The goal is to get in as many native grass plugs as possible so they can be ready for spring! Meet at 9 a.m. at the Ojai Meadows Preserve Native Plant Nursery on Besant Road. OVLC will provide tools and gloves.
