Ojai Meadows Preserve Native Plant Nursery
The Ojai Meadows Preserve Native Plant Nursery is located at the Lomita Avenue entrance. The Conservancy built the nursery in 2007 for its restoration efforts. They have three water tanks and a water well powered by solar panels that produce 2,000 one-gallon plants and 10,000 grass plugs. Every year staff, interns, and volunteers collect native clippings around the valley then propagate and grow the plants. Once the plants begin to grow they are planted in different preserves.
