Hiking the Ojai Meadows Preserve

Ojai Meadows Preserve Loop Trail »

The Ojai Meadows Preserve has a 0.64 mile trail that loops around protected wetlands, meadows and Eucalyptus trees. This easygoing trail has posted signs with information about the preserve’s restoration, its history and wildlife. If you are a bird lover or want to get out for a quiet stroll this is the place to be.

Want to explore more? Walk the additional 0.14 mile loop that follows Taormina Meadows past the Eucalyptus Grove back to the loop trail.

Lomita Avenue Entrance »

The Besant Meadows trailhead is located next to Meiners Oaks Elementary School and is often used as a shortcut to Nordhoff High School. The entire preserve is accessible from this entrance.
