Grab a beer and join us at the Topa Topa Brewing Co. Ventura taproom for #PintsWithPurpose – a series of three environmental talks with OVLC staff and partners.

April 18, 7:30–8:30 pm  The Thomas Fire and our Open Spaces
OVLC staff Brendan Taylor and Tania Parker share the immediate and future impacts of the Thomas Fire on the OVLC’s land and trails

May 7, 7:30–8:30 pm  Tales from the Trails
Craig Carey (Los Padres Trail Guide) and Tania Parker (from the OVLC) share stories about the history and creation of some of Ojai’s favorite trails

June 11, 7:30–8:30 pm  All Plants are Not Created Equal
Drought tolerant and ocean-friendly gardens do not necessarily support our local ecosystems. Jill Lashly and Tania Parker from the OVLC talk about why planting native plants in our yards is key to saving our environment. Come and get inspired to take your drought tolerant and Ocean Friendly Gardens to the next level by planting natives.
