National Trails Day 2015
In celebration of 2015 National Trails Day the OVLC led hikes for the public in each of the preserves. It was a day of beautiful views, exciting wildlife sightings, and all together good times.
To get a feel of what National Trails Day was like on the OVLC lead hikes, watch this video of the Ilvento Preserve hike made by OVLC member Scott Miller.
Ilvento Preserve
Tania Parker, Director of Advancement, and her husband Tobias lead a hike of 17 people through the Ilvento Preserve. It was a sunny day with many flowers in bloom to be spotted, caves to climb in, and the hikers were even graced with a spotting of a gray fox who spent minutes with them, and her pup baby pup.

The Ojai Meadows Preserve hike went well. There were five of us plus our guide, though we forgot to take a group picture.
Thanks for sharing Micah – I felt like I was missing one! Glad it went well :) – Tania
