Tribute Gifts

Is there someone special that you would like to honor or remember in a meaningful and lasting way? A gift in honor or memorial will benefit the Ojai Valley for generations to come. Whether it is a modest cash gift or a naming gift, every gift makes a difference.

One-time gifts in honor or memory may be made through our contributions form. We will mail an acknowledgement of your gift to the honoree or, if a memorial gift, to a designated family member to let them know their loved one has been honored by you. We will also mail you a letter of thanks with acknowledgement of the gift amount for your tax records, as these gifts are tax deductible. Make a Memorial Gift Today »

Naming Opportunities

If you or your group would like to go above and beyond to leave a lasting mark in the community, we also offer naming opportunities at some of our preserves. Several dozen people have chosen to dedicate trails, benches, gardens and more on our preserves. Please consider this very unique opportunity to create a lasting legacy for your family and for future generations of Ojai Valley residents. When new lands are acquired we will post new naming opportunities.

Benches

**There are no benches currently available at any of the preserves. 

Memorial benches are made from recycled plastic  or redwood tree and can be adorned with an inscribed plaque honoring loved one(s). The cost for dedicating a bench starts at $10,000 and naming rights are guaranteed for 20 years. After 20 years, the donors or their family have first right of refusal to reclaim the bench for a discounted rate, otherwise the OVLC will make it available for new donors. Availability of benches is limited, and the OVLC staff must approve all new benches and inscriptions.
