Wills Canyon Nature Hike
Saturday May 26,  9 am-1 pm

Start the Memorial Day Weekend out in nature with a hike up Wills Canyon to the iconic El Nido Meadow on the Ventura River Preserve. Join OVLC docent Bettyanne Sessing for a fun and informative walk and talk on the flora, fauna, geology and history of the preserve. Although much of the preserve burned in the Thomas Fire there are many signs of new life. This hike is of medium difficulty and will last approximately 4 hours including a lunch/snack break. Wear sturdy shoes and make sure to bring adequate water, snacks and sun protection. Meet at the Riverview Trailhead on Rice Road.

For more information or to make a reservation contact Marti Reid at (805) 649-6852 ext. 2 or marti@ovlc.org
