Free Guided Bird & Nature Walk

Ojai Meadows Preserve

John Pavelko & Art Vander

Saturday, January 27, 2018   8:30-10:30 AM

The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy is hosting a bird and nature walk at the Ojai Meadows Preserve on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 8:30 am.   The walk will be led by OVLC docents John Pavelko and Art Vander. You will see how years of conservation and restoration efforts have changed a weed-choked lot into one of Ojai’s most beautiful spots. You will be looking for both resident and migrating birds and learning about the plants and other wildlife that make the Ojai Meadows Preserve and the Ojai Valley so special.

Each year the Land Conservancy hosts thousands of nature enthusiasts including hikers, equestrians, school children and community groups on its Preserves. Whether a visitor, newcomer or longtime resident this is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the day with other nature lovers.

Meet at the Kiosk, wear sturdy shoes and bring sun protection. Reservations are requested. Contact Marti Reid at 649-6852 ext. 2 or marti@ovlc.org
