About the Walk

The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy is hosting a bird and nature walk at the Ojai Meadows Preserve on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 8:30 am. The walk will be led by OVLC docents John Pavelko and Art Vander.

On this walk, you will learn how years of conservation and restoration efforts have changed a weed choked lot into one of Ojai’s most beautiful preserves. You will be looking for both resident and migrating birds – learning about the plants and other wildlife that make the Ojai Meadows Preserve and the Ojai Valley so special.

Each year the Land Conservancy hosts thousands of nature enthusiasts including hikers, equestrians, school children and community groups on its Preserves. Whether a visitor, newcomer or longtime resident, this is a great opportunity to get out and enjoy the day with other nature lovers.
