Updated Ojai Meadows Preserve Bird Checklist

Now when you go to the Ojai Meadows Preserve with your binoculars and field guide you will have a better understanding of the birds that you see. We welcome feedback on this checklist and will periodically update the list based on survey information.

This particular draft was updated. Notice the small date on the front panel to know which version of the checklist you are using. We will do our best to keep checklists at the trailhead, but as you might imagine this is a difficult and expensive proposition.  Hopefully you will find a checklist at the trailhead whenever you need one.

The checklist has been designed to use over the course of 5 Ojai Meadows Preserve visits.

Now click here  for your own copy of the checklist- updated April 23, 2013.  Happy Birding!

I love this! I visit the Meadow quite a bit (so excited about the bridge, BTW) and have no clue who all the birdies are. Can’t wait to see more pictures here so I can know what I’ve spotted. I also hear all the lovely bird songs and wonder which ones are which. Can’t wait to learn more. Thanks!
