Bird Survey Confirmation
Thank you for participating in our bird monitoring survey!
These questions are designed to help monitor the bird boxes to gather data about where in the six-week reproductive cycle these cavity nesting bird species are. Each of the questions helps identify a different stage in the reproductive cycle.
Stage 1: Selection of nest box
Stage 2: Nest building – 3 to 6 days
Stage 3: Egg laying and incubation – 16 to 18 days
Stage 4: Rearing young – 14 to 21 days
Stage 5: Young leaving nest/fledging
