We need volunteers to help with site maintenance at our Confluence Preserve.

We’ve recently completed implementation of our streambank restoration project on this preserve! As part of the site maintenance we need to check the irrigation hose for leaks and weed around the planted vegetation. The majority of the plants were put in the ground in February so we really need to control weeds until the natives have a chance to grow a bit larger.

Please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, a hat and work gloves. There is not a restroom at this site.

Directions:
From Hwy 33 in Oak View, turn west onto Santa Ana Blvd (a left from Ventura, a right from Ojai). Follow over the river. Turn left onto Santa Ana Road. Follow for a mile or two. Turn left into the driveway of 9458 Santa Ana Rd. Follow down to the river. We will meet there.
